National Conservative Group Raises $4 Million To Elect Prosecutors Who Will Enforce The Law
Organization Led By Virginia AG Miyares Has Strong First Year
Arlington, VA – Today, the Protecting Americans Project Action Fund (PAAF), along with its affiliated non-profit the Protecting Americans Project, announced that in 2022 the two groups raised a combined $4 million. The mission of the Action Fund is to elect local prosecutors who will enforce the law as written instead of radical activists who unilaterally decide which laws to implement.
Last year, PAAF invested in over a dozen competitive races in Arizona, Iowa, Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, and Texas, won 70% of the races, and flipped five jurisdictions to now be held by conservative, enforce-the-law prosecutors.
“Crime is rising across the country, and it’s not helpful that some extreme far-left prosecutors unilaterally refuse to prosecute certain crimes. Thanks to our generous supporters, Protecting Americans Action Fund is reversing this tide by electing prosecutors who will enforce the law as written,” said Virginia Attorney General and honorary PAAF Chairman Jason Miyares. “Despite how well-funded and organized these so-called progressive prosecutors are, last year was a tremendous success. Looking forward, we’re just getting started towards our goal of electing individuals who will prosecute our laws, which will lower crime in our cities and suburbs.”
Protecting Americans Action Fund is led by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares. The organization’s advisory board includes a wide range of individuals committed to national public safety issues.
