George Soros’ network has elected liberal prosecutors across the country, including Alameda County, which is home to Oakland. After just one year of a weak prosecutor, the famed In-N-Out restaurant is leaving due to crime.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, since 2019, this block of Oakland has recorded 1,335 criminal incidents in and around the fast-food restaurant, more than any other location in Oakland.
“When prosecutors fail to enforce our laws, small businesses are forced to close their doors, which kills jobs and economic development for the entire community,” said Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares. “Protecting Americans Action Fund is committed to electing prosecutors who will enforce our laws and help small businesses thrive instead of watching them wither on the vine because repeat criminals are terrorizing their customers and employees.”

BACKGROUND:
Due to crime, In-N-Out is closing its only Oakland location. “In-N-Out said Sunday it will close its only Oakland restaurant in March over crime and safety concerns for its customers and employees. The location is at 8300 Oakport St., near the Oakland International Airport. In-N-Out Burger follows a long line of businesses that have shut down in the last year citing crime as the driving factor.” (CBS News, 01/22/24)
George Soros spent $130,000 to elect Pamela Price, who, as District Attorney, has refused to enforce our laws. “Left-wing financier George Soros supported DA Price to the tune of over $130,000 in 2018, according to the East Bay Express. Frustrated locals are currently pushing an effort to recall Price from office, according to local reports.” (CBS News, 10/23/23)
In-N-Out took as many steps as possible to make their Oakland location safe. “In-N-Out released a statement that reads in part ‘Despite taking repeated steps to create safer conditions, our customers and associates are regularly victimized by car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies.’” (CBS News, 01/22/24)
Oakland residents are unhappy as economic development dies when businesses leave the city. “‘I’m definitely frustrated. Because if it’s not In-N-Out, it’s something else tomorrow,” said Oakland resident Jenny Goeppner. ‘These are people’s jobs, and it’s essential to have jobs so we can spend money in the community,’ said Oakland resident Darryl Brown.” (CBS News, 01/22/24)
