Arlington, VA – Following reports that a Capitol Hill staffer was assaulted at gunpoint following the Congressional Baseball Game, Protecting Americans Action Fund board member, former Congressman John Faso released the following statement.
“It’s alarming that the far-left liberal leaders who run the city of Washington have not taken steps to properly protect the elected officials, staff, and tourists from criminals in our nation’s capital,” said former New York Congressman John Faso. “I saw firsthand the crime in Washington, D.C., and see it in my home state of New York. Soft on crime prosecutors and leaders are responsible for this uptick in violence when they should be prioritizing the safety of their communities. Protecting Americans Action Fund was established to promote enforce the law prosecutors, and I am proud to work alongside them in these efforts.”
Protecting Americans Action Fund is led by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, the group’s honorary Chairman. The organization’s advisory board includes a wide range of individuals committed to national public safety issues
